Alpine Enigmas
UM researchers are scaling new heights to unravel the mysteries of Montana's bighorn sheep and mountain goat populations. Led by Dan Walsh, leader of the Cooperative Wildlife Research Unit at the Franke College, the team is capturing, collaring and tracking these animals to gather crucial data that will help shape wildlife management strategies across the state.
'Every Day is Go, Go, Go'
Trevin Gradney reflects on the legacy he is building, both as a standout Grizzly football player and an integral leader for a program that only continues to grow in popularity.
Concert Stage Classroom
A new donor-funded concert stage offers students in the Entertainment Management Program at the College of Business fresh opportunities to engage in real-world learning experiences.
Turning Gratitude into Impact
Courtney Robles' experience at UM inspired her to give back to her alma mater over the years. During UM’s annual day of giving in March 2024, she gave $10,000 to the School of Journalism Impact Fund, which provides unrestricted resources to help campus leaders address emerging opportunities and challenges.
In the Know: Qualified Endowment Credit

Along with the permanency, the tax credit limits increased in 2024 to $15,000 per taxpayer or $30,000 per couple filing jointly when a qualifying gift is made. For businesses making a qualifying gift, the tax credit increased to $15,000.
