Donors Go 'Big' to Support Students During 2026 Big Give
For the seventh consecutive year, donors showed up in a truly “big” way this spring to support students during The Big Give, UM’s annual day of giving.
From noon on March 25 to noon on March 26, more than 700 generous donors came together to contribute close to $450,000 in support of over 50 participating groups. Their collective impact uplifted academic programs, fueled student success initiatives such as scholarships, cheered on Grizzly Athletics and bolstered campus and community resources.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all who contributed to this meaningful event, including those who signed up as Big Give Advocates to help spread the word and inspire others to give. Thanks to exciting match and challenge opportunities, donors were able to make their contributions go even further.
Over the years, The Big Give has raised nearly $2.9 million to support critical areas of need on campus and beyond. It unites the University’s expanding donor community — many of whom are giving to UM for the first time — in a shared spirit of volunteerism and commitment. Together, through gifts of all sizes, their collective action makes an immediate, tangible difference and builds momentum for the future.
Be sure to mark your calendars: The Big Give will return for its eighth year in spring 2027.
