Jamie Stanton, CPA, is Chief Financial and Operations Officer at the University of Montana Foundation, where she has helped guide the organization’s financial direction since 2007. With a strong background in accounting and operations, Jamie has held several key roles at the Foundation, including Controller and Chief Financial Officer, before stepping into her current position in 2017.
In her role, Jamie leads a team of 17 professionals, serves as a member of the Foundation’s executive management team, and regularly liaises with the Board of Trustees on financial, operational and governance matters.
Before joining the Foundation, Jamie worked in public accounting, gaining hands-on experience as a staff accountant, senior auditor and account manager at several Montana-based firms. This early experience laid the groundwork for her deep understanding of nonprofit financial management and governance.
A proud University of Montana alumn, Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Information Systems. Her commitment to transparency, efficiency and accountability helps ensure the Foundation continues to support the University’s mission and long-term success.
