Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager

Makaya joined the UM Foundation as the Fund Administration and Stewardship Coordinator in 2021. She began her role as the Donor Relations and Stewardship Specialist in 2023 before starting her current role as Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager in 2024. Prior to her work with the UM Foundation, Makaya worked for various local nonprofit organizations, including the UM Food Pantry, Boys and Girls Club of Missoula County and Watson’s Children Shelter. Makaya is a proud UM alum, having graduated with her B.A. in Organizational Communication and a minor in Nonprofit Administration. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband.
