Rachel joined the UM Foundation in May 2024 as Associate Director of Development for the W.A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation. Originally from the Seattle area, she grew up with a love for the outdoors, spending weekends hiking, camping, skiing or fishing.
As a proud UM alum, Rachel earned her B.S. in health and human performance with minors in nonprofit administration and global public health. During her time as a Grizzly, she led hundreds of prospective students on campus tours as a UM Advocate.
Rachel has held jobs across many nonprofit organizations, from working with the Boys and Girls Club of Missoula County to contributing to Make-A-Wish chapters in Georgia and Montana, and most recently as the development coordinator for the Bitterroot Water Partnership. She's also active on the Board of Directors for the Hamilton Downtown Association.
When she isn't on campus, Rachel stays busy wrangling her two kiddos with her husband, exploring Bitterroot hiking trails or relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book.
