Shain is a graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in History and minor in Political Science. He comes from Butte, Montana, where he worked in various capacities for Butte-Silver Bow County and served two terms as a trustee for Butte School District #1. Shain has a passion for public education and is thrilled to be working for the Foundation. Outside of work, Shain has served 13 years on the executive committee for the An Ri’ Ra’ Montana Irish Festival. In his free time Shain enjoys spending time with his family.
