Sustainability
The UM Sustainability Fund supports and encourages environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives at the University of Montana. Students, faculty, and staff from departments across campus are involved in projects that explore renewable energy opportunities for the campus and community, the impacts of energy development, moving UM toward zero waste, green building design and construction and additional ways to integrate sustainability into curricula and research.
Your gift to UM's Sustainability Fund supports:
- Sustainability internships and fellowships for students to gain professional development, technical expertise, and project-management experience through our sustainability work.
- Matching funds for sustainability projects on and off campus, including scoping of large-scale renewable energy projects for campus.
- Sustainability education & outreach events.
- Faculty training and materials to incorporate sustainability into curricula.
